KELLY TALKS ADVOCACY WORK TO REDUCE GUN VIOLENCE AS MONTCLAIR STATE UNIVERSITY UNVEILS NEW SCIENCE BUILDING //

Montclair State University held an official dedication for its new Center for Environmental and Pharmaceutical Life Sciences on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. It also featured a panel discussion on ‘The Future of Science.’ The event featured Mark Kelly, a former NASA Astronaut, U.S. Navy captain, and test pilot, as well as Robert Hariri, chairman, founder, and chief scientific officer for Celgene Cellular Therapeutics.

This 55 million-dollar building is the second Montclair State construction project funded by the “Building Our Future” Bond Act approved by NJ voters in 2012. It has a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Silver certification from the United States Green Building Council. This project adds to the University’s three existing science buildings: Science Hall, Richardson Hall, and Mallory Hall.
